We love our high resolutions here but were a little apprehensive about 4K due to the graphics power required to run such a beastly resolution. After getting our hands on the BL3201PT thanks to BenQ, we wanted to share where this monitor really shines and what it means for gamers at the current time with regards to games and graphics cards.
First of all, I want to thank BenQ for sending us a BL3201PT for evaluation. It’s the most advanced monitor I’ve had the pleasure of working with and the visual experience was amazing. Everything about the BL3201PT screamed ‘Class’ from the sturdy stand, the connectivity and ‘convenience’ features all the way to the most important part, the image quality. Our review sample was completely flawless.
The BenQ BL3201PT is a 32″ IPS LCD display with a massive 3840×2160 UHD resolution. Although it’s intended for design work and maxxes out at 60Hz, we couldn’t wait to get some games running on the biggest monitor we’ve had in the lab. BenQ boast 100% sRGB colour space, Display Pilot software, a remote control/orb as an alternative to the buttons for the On-Screen display, and a CAM/CAD, animation mode for design work.
