Reviewed: MSI X99S Gaming 7

The complete specifications of the X99S Gaming 7 are listed below. When working with the review sample, we didn’t have any compatibility issues with our components in BIOS, general testing or the practical build in our Cooler Master Cosmos SE case.

MSI’s software bundle is certainly up to scratch with the Command Centre software doing a good job of monitoring the system’s vitals, controlling fans, managing the RAMDISK and facilitating a handy overclock at the same time. The MSI Update software also kept all of the system utilities up to date, the only minor issue we had was getting it to update itself but after 2 system restarts, the update went through properly and we were in business.
